Support For All Levels

Whether you’re completely new to yoga or have experience, our classes are for you! You’ll be supported all the way with detailed guidance and instructors who will help make the practice your own.

How Do I Start?

  • Sign up for your first class online. Visit the Schedules page and select your location. Need to learn more about our Locations? Visit the Location page.

  • Please arrive 15 minutes before your first class so that we can meet you and help you get oriented in the studio. Be sure to check in at the front desk and let the teacher know you're new. We will take it from there!

  • You're welcome to bring your own yoga mat, but please note that we offer yoga mat rentals for free at all times. While your first hand towel rental is free, we recommend bringing an additional towel just in case!

We recommend bringing water to stay hydrated during class. Wear comfortable clothes suitable for movement and consider bringing a change of clothes for after class--students have been known to sweat in our heated classes :)

  • Parking is always free at our studios. While some locations have free parking lots, others offer validations. Check out additional information about each studio and get directions on our Locations page.

  • Highland Yoga primarily offers HY Power Flow, which is a challenging but accessible vinyasa flow class suitable for all levels. If you're new to yoga, we encourage you to come with an open mind and trust that we are here to guide you! Let the teacher know you're new and check in after class with any questions. Yoga is a practice--this means that every time you get on your mat you learn something new and grow. Be open to the process and know we are here to support you in your yoga journey!

In addition to HY Power Flow, we also offer slower, less vigorous classes called Slow & Steady, Deep Stretch & Restore, and Vin Yin.

Our Community

We know how it feels to take on a new challenge in a new place with new people. We strive to make our studio a real community where you can be yourself, connect to a supportive community, and explore your yoga practice. Don't forget to check out our workshops and community events to get even more connected to our community.

HY Power Flow

Highland Yoga's signature vinyasa flow class heated to 94 degrees. Expect creative sequencing, an emphasis on breath-to-movement, strengthening and stretching poses, and a soothing cool down and Savasana. This class is challenging but accessible and a favorite among our students.

Slow & Steady

Slow & Steady is a heated vinyasa flow class that combines the best elements of HY Power Flow but without breath-to-movement transitions--this class is perfect for students looking for longer holds and less vigorous movement.

Warm Deep Stretch

Treat your body and soul to Highland Yoga's Warm Deep Stretch Class. Experience deep relaxation through gentle and restorative yoga poses. You'll leave feeling stretched out and fully relaxed!

Vin Yin Flow

Vin Yin combines the best of both worlds--enjoy a vigorous vinyasa flow followed by an extra long deep stretch ("yin"). You'll leave feeling refreshed and balanced!

Prenatal Yoga

Our Prenatal Yoga classes are designed to provide safe movement and meditation for expecting mothers. This non-heated classes incorporated pregnancy-safe poses. As a bonus, you'll get to connect with community to help support you on your prenatal journey.
