Jordan began practicing hot yoga in 2016 as a physical practice to get in a good sweat and to detox from a 9-5 corporate lifestyle. After a year of mindlessly practicing, she found Highland Yoga through their work-trade program and instantly fell in love with the community. She got to know many of the instructors who shared their practice of mindful yoga coupled with meditation and instantly her view of yoga transformed. Each practice came with intention and offered whatever was needed in that moment of her life. These moments were grounding, challenging, vulnerable, strengthening, calming, and anything in between.
With her growing love for the practice and HY’s community, she attended our own teacher training and aims to hold space for her students through all walks of life: creating a judgment-free zone to give grace when needed and to offer a challenge when desired.
