Sarah took her first yoga class in high school, and practiced occasionally throughout college. After one year in the working world, Sarah decided to commit to a consistent yoga practice as a way to manage stress and turn inward. Sarah has been part of the Highland Yoga community for about 2 years, and completed the Teacher Training program in December 2020. She has been consistently inspired by the community and welcoming space at Highland Yoga. Through sequences that connect breath to movement, Sarah has witnessed yoga at Highland encourage mindfulness and self-love in students that stretch far beyond the walls of each studio.
Sarah’s mission is to create a space where all levels of practitioners can experience the physical and mental rewards of yoga. In her class, students will bring awareness to their breath and body through a creative sequence of continuous movements. Sarah’s goal is for students to leave class with a sense of inner-peace, gratitude for their strength, and tools to use on and off the mat.
