After many years as a high level gymnast and gymnastics coach, Rachel was craving a way to move her body and to find a way to help manage her anxiety. She found Highland Yoga in the fall of 2018 and fell in love with the vinyasa style flow, the wisdom that each teacher brought to the classes, and the amazing community.
Rachel completed her RYT-200 in the fall of 2020 at Highland Yoga. As a yoga teacher, her goal is to create a safe space for students to breathe and flow, free of judgment and full of curiosity.
Her teaching style is dynamic and powerful with a range of modifications to meet every student where they are on that day, in that class. She creates energetic sequences that offer the student an opportunity to move and breathe while creating a sense of ease in the mind. Rachel’s gymnastics background brings a creativity to every sequence and flow while working on full body strength and flexibility.
