Initially, Savannah started practicing yoga to complement marathon training, but quickly realized how much enrichment yoga would bring into her life. Not only did she fall in love with the moving meditation that comes from connecting the mind, body and breath, but the calm mind she felt from practice after 12 hour shifts at the hospital. It wasn’t the physical asana of yoga that kept bringing her back, but the mental and emotional clarity she found through the practice.
A registered nurse and 200 hour registered yoga teacher, Savannah combines her love for movement, medicine and community to help students connect with themselves on and off the mat. Her classes consist of alignment based flows infused with creative sequences to bring a fun dynamic class for all levels.
Off the mat, you can find her running, traveling, or studying for her Nurse Practitioner degree at Emory University.
