Yoga has been a part of Betsy’s life unknowingly pretty much for its entirety. There were these random memories that would pop up of her mom or grandfather asking her and her sister to try different shapes and movements with their bodies. It wasn’t until 2018 when she joined Highland Yoga that she even realized these were yoga poses! Betsy initially started yoga as a way to get into better physical shape, but quickly realized that her yoga practice was benefiting her life in more ways than one.

After about three years of consistent practice Betsy decided it was time to take it to the next level and deepen her knowledge of yoga. She completed her 200-hr Yoga Teacher Training with Highland Yoga in December 2021, and is very excited about sharing her love for this practice with anyone from beginners to experienced practitioners. You can expect breath awareness and fluid movements in Betsy’s classes. She hopes that her students leave feeling grounded, calm, and having a clearer mind. It is her goal to show her students that yoga can not only help with physical strength, but mental strength as well.
